Thankful.

Today is Thanksgiving and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing things in my life.

I have a fantastic husband.  He plumbs and he folds laundry and he thinks my bottom is nice, even if it is oversized.

I’m thankful for my children.  They are healthy and wonderful kids who make me laugh every single day (and curse, but that’s a post for a different day.)

I’m thankful for friends that encourage and inspire and support (and occasionally enable.)

I’m thankful for the time we had with my Dad before he passed away.  I’m grateful I can see him inside of me and my children.

I’m thankful that when I look at my life I see more blessings than problems.

And I am really thankful that an overworked, underpaid preschool teacher made my daughter a pilgrim bonnet.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
